Traveling abroad is exciting—but one small missing document can turn your dream trip into a nightmare at the airport. If you’re going for study, work, vacation, or relocation, having the right documents ready is key to a smooth and stress-free journey.
Here’s your ultimate checklist of documents every Nigerian traveler should prepare in 2025 before stepping on that plane.
1️⃣ Valid International Passport
Your Nigerian international passport must be:
- Valid for at least six months beyond your travel date
- Contain enough blank pages for visa stamps

2️⃣ Visa or Entry Permit
